PREFACE

What if I were to assume why you've arrived to my very first blog post? I'd say it's because you follow me on one form of social media or another, you're already familiar with who I am, and now you're interested in what I have to share with the world through my blog.

verb

1. to take for granted or without proof: to assume that everyone wants peace.

2. to take upon oneself; undertake; to assume an obligation.

With that said, I want to clear one thing up… I don't care for assumptions. In my opinion, many assumptions are made to complete thoughts in your head when you either want to feel/sound smart, or you're honestly just too lazy to figure out that you're wrong. So… I won't assume that you have any idea: who I am, why you're reading my blog, or why you're browsing the web when you're suppose to be working.

Let's get started...

Hi, I'm Maci.

Once upon a time, I was a part of a television series on MTV, that may or may not have been, compiled with some of the most controversial conversations and situations to ever air on TV.

Over the course of five years, I've managed to attract millions of viewers, turn them into followers on multiple social media platforms, and somehow keep them interested in me.

I'm a stubborn, sarcastic, red head… mixed with bits of some sweet southern charm. I'm capable of having a mouth that would make a sailor seem like a saint compared to me, but I'll keep that to a minimum in this post, since we just met. I appreciate little things like: the word 'yall', an ice cold bud light, and really good conversation.

But the most important thing in my life... I happen to be the mother of a the most beautiful little boy on the planet. - Don't argue with me on that. Remember, I'm a stubborn red head, you won't win! He's the funniest five year old I've ever had the pleasure of being around, and even when he's having an 'I'm gonna be a little shit' moment, I still believe I'm the luckiest woman in the world to call him my son. (Yep, I said it. I know you're judging me, because I sort of just called my son 'a little shit'. I also know that if you're a mom, you're laughing in your head because you know exactly what I'm talking about.)

Now that you know a little bit about me, let's talk about my blog. I'm actually starting this blog, because everyday I get many questions from fans about rumors, clothes, parenting, my favorite products and everything in between. So, after much consideration on how I can really connect with my fans/followers, I thought a blog would be the perfect place for me to answer any questions you may have, clear up any assumptions about me that you have, or that the media may be attempting to force on you, and it also happens to be a great spot for me to share with you some of my favorite finds.

My blog has officially been born, now I need to get started on raising it. I need your help, keep in mind that your feedback and involvement is very important to me.
